Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT) has been saving land and water since 1992, from Denver to the Continental Divide, and Pikes Peak to Long’s Peak. MALT’s work is about saving our natural areas and preserving a quality of life for generations to come.
For this reason, MALT has established the Vista Giving Circle for donors who plan on leaving a gift to MALT in their will or estate plans.
Planned giving is an important way to ensure our shared legacy of vistas, water and wildlife that will continue to be protected. Gifts made through wills are easy to arrange, can be changed at anytime you choose and allow you to direct assets to good use when you no longer need them, without affecting your cash flow today.
As someone who values conserved land, water and wildlife, we invite you to become a member of MALT’s Vista Giving Circle today. Vista Giving Circle members receive special recognition as well as invitations to exclusive MALT activities. And your participation inspires others!

“As long time supporters of the Mountain Area Land Trust, my wife Kathy and I want to ensure that MALT is able to continue its work for the long term. We’ve included MALT in our estate planning. We hope our grandchildren and all future generations can enjoy the Colorado land, water and wildlife that MALT works diligently to conserve.”

“We feel strongly about preserving open space close to where we live. It is important to us to know we are leaving something for future generations, and it is nice to think that our donation has a purpose. Our decision to make a planned gift to MALT is the best way we can invest after we’re gone.”
-Mike and Caroline Gilbert, Vista Giving Circle members
“MALT gives a darn about what happens to the landscape. I have a piece of land that I think is beautiful. I’ve been a forest steward for 20 years and I’m just delighted that there’s someone who can take care of it after I’m gone. I can die happy.”
