Floyd Hill Meadow
Floyd Hill Meadow or the Homestead parcel is located on Floyd Hill in Evergreen between Homestead Rd. and Clear Creek High School on the south side of I-70. Every year, the meadow is seen by millions of visitors driving by on I-70, Coloradans hiking and biking many nearby trails, and Floyd Hill neighbors.
MALT has been working to secure the property’s protection since Albert Frei & Sons gifted the land to the organization in June 2023 and officially closed on a voluntary Conservation Easement in December 2024.
More than one hundred generous donors contributed to MALT’s capital campaign raising funds to place a voluntary Conservation Easement on the property. The protection of Floyd Hill Meadow will have a long-lasting impact for local wildlife, neighbors, recreational enthusiasts, and travelers along the I-70 corridor.
MALT welcomes neighbors and the community to walk the trail on the property and enjoy the beauty of the area.
