Location: Floyd Hill Meadow, adjacent to Clear Creek Middle/High School.
The backstory: MALT acquired the property, as a donation from Albert Frei & Sons, in June 2023. Following the acquisition, more than one hundred generous donors contributed to MALT’s capital campaign raising funds to place a voluntary Conservation Easement on the property. In December 2024, MALT and Colorado Open Lands (COL) announced the protection of the 18-acre parcel in Clear Creek County. The protection of Floyd Hill Meadow will have a perpetual impact for local wildlife, neighbors, recreational enthusiasts, and travelers along the I-70 corridor.
