Birding Walk with Evergreen Audubon
Join Evergreen Audubon and Mountain Area Land Trust for an opportunity to discover the birds that call South Park home. All are welcome whether you’re brand-new to the world of birding, or you already bird on the regular!

What to Expect:
- No prior bird knowledge is needed! This walk aims to provide a baseline set of skills and provide you with some helpful tools to identify birds.
- The pace will be fairly relaxed during the hike – the goal will be practicing our identification skills and the use of identification tools (i.e. the eBird app, binoculars, field guides, etc.)
What to Bring:
- Comfortable hiking shoes
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Hiking poles (optional)
- Binoculars (if you have them – Evergreen Audubon will have some pairs available to borrow)
